About

Michalis Messios

The last five years Michael appears in TV programs as bassist and conductor.
The most important step of his career after his mature in time is happening the last two years, founding and leading his own band Michael Messios Symmetry Band that performs exclusively his own compositions. With this band, he has appeared at various festivals, with final Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival 2014. Members of the band are the Marios Toumbas on piano and Ioannis Vafeas on drums featuring Charis Ioannou and George Krasides on saxes.
He invests a lot in this effort, since it means so much to him to be able to be expressed both as a performer and as a composer. These are two fields of music that he loves equally.
